We’ve sprung our clocks an hour ahead. Our hens are laying double-time, and the hummingbirds are dueling over our lemon tree blossoms.

Spring is here. Hallelujah!

We have Easter in a couple weeks, and I for one cannot wait to set up the kids’ baskets. We’re trying to steer clear of candy this year, opting for some adorable and practical gifts instead.

7 Easter Basket Ideas

I can’t. wait. to see sweet girl discover her Easter basket this year. She’s been eyeing her brother’s crocheted zebra for some time now, so I think she’ll adore having her own crocheted animal. And, while I enjoy the tradition of hunting for Easter eggs, I also want our children to know the true reason behind the celebration of Easter. I look forward to reading the “Easter Love Letters from God” with our kids and using it as another opportunity to talk about what Jesus did for us on the cross.

Here’s what Lily’s Easter basket will look like.

    I adore your ideas!
Since my family is so large (15 grandkids) and since I have many friends without extended family…I host an annual pot luck dinner. It ends up being pretty extravagant because of the many hands helping prepare all their favorite dishes, but individually it really is quite simple.
This year all the musicians will be entertaining us with their talents…. can’t wait to see all the kids on the dance floor…. simple joy!

    1. What a fun idea! ? So great to get everyone involved in the party, sharing their own dishes and talents. ?
