Chai Oatmeal Recipe

This oatmeal will transport you to autumn, no matter what time of year it is!

Ingredients

Chai Spice Blend

  • 3 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp cardamom
  • 1 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp allspice optional
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper optional

Chai Oatmeal

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups liquid (I use water and almond milk)
  • 1.5 tsp chai spice blend
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3-4 pinches mineral salt
  • 2-3 doonks pure stevia or sweetener of choice

Instructions

  1. Combine all Chai Oatmeal ingredients into a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.

  2. Simmer for 3-5 minutes, uncovered. Be sure to stir it from time to time. When the oatmeal is thickened, remove from heat and allow it to cool.

  3. Enjoy!
